Our Services Our Approach

What We Do

Information Presentation

We gather the relevant information about your situation and present it to you. Organized. Accurate. Complete. We do not tell you what it means. We do not tell you what to do with it. We give you the information and step back.

Framework Introduction

We are familiar with many frameworks for thinking about decisions. We can introduce them to you. We do not recommend which framework to use. We introduce them neutrally. You decide which, if any, apply. We are prepared to introduce frameworks that contradict each other. We do not find this uncomfortable.

Stakeholder Listening Sessions

We facilitate sessions in which stakeholders speak and are heard. We do not speak ourselves, except to invite others to speak. We do not summarize. We do not synthesize. We do not offer our perspective at any point. We confirm afterward that everyone was heard. We issue a document listing who spoke and for how long. The document contains no analysis.

Who We Are For

We are for organizations that have access to opinions and are looking for information. We are for leaders who have strong views and want to ensure they are working from accurate facts before applying those views. We are for situations where bringing in a consultant with opinions would introduce bias into a process that needs to remain unbiased.

We are not for organizations that want to be told what to do. We are not that kind of consultant. We have nothing against those consultants. We simply are not them.

"I hired them because I didn't trust myself not to hire someone who agreed with me. They didn't agree or disagree with anyone. They just told us what was happening. It was the most useful thing anyone had done in that process."

— Client, Series B Decision Process. We have no opinion on whether this was a good outcome.
